Accounts in Nov 2023 show large d3bts, factoring, increasing short term loans, selling season tickets v early again, raising £1m via player sales and Community Share income; doesn’t seem to bode well Special measures last year and this if other clubs agree IMG Finance score v low At best we’re using next years funds to pay off earlier debts…unless there are other major income streams next year it doesn’t just seem a small cash flow problem But who knows…certainly nothing coming out of the Club The silence or lack of transparency is the worst thing. CBS is meaningless and serves no purpose. Power is with the few.

The CBS doesn’t appear to have added value ( have they had time) but this has been going on for years…it’s now endemic in the Club. The CBS are finding their feet; let’s not try and apportion blame to them.
I agree with the ‘silence and lack of transparency’…most people I know, past enthusiasts, have switched off from the Club…as I’ve said too many times it appears to have become a clique, like a gentleman’s club…fan involvement zero. The Supporters Trust try v hard but….the Club not
I think we’re all getting v angry about the way we’ve been treated…we seem to be only valued when the Club wants funds…so perhaps I’ll leave it for a while because the frustration over the past years is just coming out…

I don't think it's too much trouble for the club to be putting it out in the open, so we are at least in charge of the facts. Whenever this sh1te is leaked onto the internet without any official word it just breeds bad feeling. The club really need to be addressing this, be it positive, neutral, or negative. This isn't new for them, but they always seem to miss the mood...

All we seem to be doing is arguing with each other instead of sticking together I don't know if it's t'interweb or not but you're correct it always seems to bring out the best in people and we all forget we're on the same side.

Given how things have worked out financially in the past they should be telling all the stakeholders before it becomes overly dramatic.
If this is the end game I hope we are not saved once again TBH because this is painful, may in fact be nothing, but we are in this position far too often.

I know it was technically a non-starter but in do wonder if us taking over Moor Lane would have been more financially viable? Yes it was small and difficult logistically but we would have been the captains of our own ship. I was all for staying at the stadium as I live less than ten minutes away, but I can’t help but feel we’ve messed up.

The one thing I don’t understand and it’s not defending the club but all that fanfare from dennet having his pictures took at the ground all the press releases saying it was done I don’t get why we’re now in November and nothing forthcoming in negotiations with the club about the way forward,am I missing something?!I’ve spoken to someone whose close to dennet and they said the advertising near motorway was going to be salfords and could look at a million pound a year in income!

Whichever way it goes it is time for the club to be open and honest with the fans yes while not great news if the club had told us first at least we wouldn’t feel so mugged off again!like I’ve said before and I don’t know how we would go about this but it really is time for a meeting with the fans by Paul king,we are a community club in name and I’m afraid that money we all raised under the banner of community share scheme was only to pay the wages for another month is what I see!
