I've seen a few comments by people who claim to be in the know that we're in talks with Zak Hardaker about replacing Josh Griffin in the centres. For me, as talented a player as he can be, he is too much of a loose cannon off the field. Sheens brought in a no idiots policy last season, I'd hope that we stick by that even with him gone.

Hardaker is a tough one, very talented player and on his day world class, but also on his day a world class bell end. If he did come back to the UK and sign for Salford I'd make it a condition he lives in Salford to keep him clear of the influences he had in Leeds. Think a stumbling block is isn't there a huge transfer fee involved? and with the Leeds peoples love of the Doc can't see any wriggle room on that.
I'd suggest though that unless Vidot is going signing him would be the end of Evalds, much to good a player to be a bit part all season if no injuries occur, no for me I'd look at Sa'u & Jones as the regular centres and if/when needed try Carney or Evalds inside. Carney has the physical presence and speed (James Roberts seems to do alright being a speedster with size in the centres) where as Evalds just seems to have that knack, the knack to do the right thing and be in the right place.

I like rumours they're exciting but I wouldn't mind a signing to go along with the hearsay!

Just read two different articles on the talent available from the NRL, those who still don't have a contract or club! If Vidot goes could be an opening there?
Now come on Doc give us someone to excite about for next season!

Hull KR board seems to think we've got Maurice Blair for next year. Been rumoured for a while this and would be more than happy with it. Great cover for halves and back row.

I do wonder if there is a signing to be announced from Warrington or Wigan, been extremely quiet this week and you'd think the Doc would have been itching to make some noise.

The number of decent players without a contract or club for next year is incredible!

They are all BIG bu*gers, but are they any good AKA Vidot I seriously think we will struggle to sign new decent players for the coming season

Lawrence is proven, Page just looks like he'd rip into SL and McConachie likes a bit of rough and tumble and for me would be ideal for SL.
Macdonald might be another Vidot but there's no fail safe to buying someone in.
