Travis Burns is the most recent name to be linked with a move to Salford.

Burns rumour is a weird one. It would suggest to me that one of our halves would be on the way out. Competition in the halves is a good thing, but the club wouldn't waste a quota spot on someone to make up the numbers.

You wouldn't be surprised if Lui headed back to Oz, there's got to be a space for him in one of the NRL squads, someone like the Gold Coast have struggled in the halves and it's sure a lot closer to his family.
I'd prefer Dobson to go on his day a decent scrum half but doesn't open the gap enough for me, that said is Travis Burns any better? Personally I don't think he's be a great improvement if any.

Wouldn't surprise me if Lui goes back. Don't want Travis Burns. Dobson far better than you give him credit for

the18thman.com/2016/06/23/another-leeds-star-to-exit-the-rhinos/Oh hell yes I'd have him in a heartbeat, don't know who'd lose out but Hall is out and out class. I'd go so far as to get him as the Marquee signing. Shows the stupidity of RL that both Hall and Charnley could be off to RU in one season, that both are going to a club in the RL heartland just rubs salt in the wound.

Talk on anti social media of Mossop being offered to us for next season, wouldn't be a bad option for me, offers added size and the perfect replacement off the bench for Kopczak.

A lot of Wigan fans didn't rate Taylor either and we all know how good he turned out to be, think it's common knowledge also that the recent trouble was between Mossop and Bateman, the Wigan fans seem to have sided with Bateman regardless on what actually happened.
Yes I'd love to see Mossop but not a wink of sleep would be missed if we missed out on him.
Different tack but I wonder if we could get Junior to persuade his brother Tommy to come to Salford, bit of a chip of the old block, bit quicker too.

Heard at the wire game last week we've signed micky Higham for next season, not sure how he's gone for leigh but my instant reaction was he's probably a bit too old. Seems to have been around forever

Wouldn't make sense to let Tommy Lee go and bring in Higham who is 7 years his senior (though undoubtedly in his prime was a much better hooker), the only reason I could see this was if we were looking for a Captain and need a mentor for Brining and Kenny who are both talented but very young.

Not saying I wouldn't like any of those mentioned at the club, but would they want to work under TS and can we accommodate two high level / profile management types at the club?
For me it's s no brainer TS to coach, increase his support structure and bring in a commercial director.

I heard a rumour yesterday which I believe to be false, but apparently Super League is getting expanded to 14 teams next season and all teams involved in the Middle 8's have been told about this prior to last weekend's matches. Like I say, don't believe it for a second but it's been doing the rounds on social media.
