Would be a cracking addition to the front row but if his heart isn't in it I'd be happier looking elsewhere. I expected at some point this season for Keegan Hirst to sign.

Still think we are a Nick Scruton type signing away from a good front row, might be getting on but the type of old head for me a decent pack needs, as much as Sinfield has left I still think Leeds are missing Peacock more this season.

Scruton is about to sign for Hull KR, so that 1 is out. Rumour for next year is Chris Heighington to rejoin his ex-Wests coach here. He's been playing prop last couple of years so would fit in there. Not sure if he would be off quota as he represented England and has an English father and British passport. |

Isaac De Gois is apparently leaving Parramatta and the end of the season after turning down a new contract. He's an experienced Hooker who could serve us well for a few years despite his age.

De Gois I'd love to see, a good go forward hooker who can play big minutes, also a very good hooker for Matt Wilkinson to learn from and become the regular first choice #9.
Heighington I'm not certain about, good player but mainly a 2nd row where we have more than enough options, if we go for an experienced prop we need to go for an out and out prop.

Again not so much a rumour but was near the stadium the other day and noticed lots of TV equipment, a bit of a look and I spotted that there are a load of games for the RU under 20's world cup.
Teams from Italy, Georgia, Australia, France, Scotland, NZ, Japan, South Africa, Wales, Argentina & England all play at Barton. You'd hope that Sheens is having a look at some of the players on show, remember we got Sini and Savelio from finding talent at a RU world cup.
