True we are at the back of the queue now having had to play in MPG before sorting out recruitment but the eternal optimist in me thinks that for once it's good not to see rumours and non stories in the press every day. I'd like to think we've adopted a more professional approach and the club will announce things when deals are done. Prime example Matty Smith to Saints- who saw that coming.
FWIW I think we need a centre, an experienced prop, and a couple of squad players.
We need to keep Evalds but with GOB nailed on for starting FB and Johnson and Carney as wingers (I'd give Vidot another chance too I'd like to think we rushed him back) where could Niall play ?

Mr G - I'd start Evalds on the wing before Johnson or Vidot. I know Watto doesn't necessarily see it that way though!

I wonder if Paul Gallen is back in the equation With Luke Lewis. Top centre with Hardaker, then Ryan Brierley.
Would those 4 top up our team ?. Just thinking out loud

Any particular reason for mentioning Luke Lewis? He would be great too
Would be happy to have Brierly but not sure we need to strengthen that area unless Lui is off

Apparently he was on his way to HKR until they got dumped out of the league by an unfashionable Club. I wouldn't be too disappointed if those were the signings. Taylor comes with baggage though. |

I wouldn't be too upset either. Baggage with Taylor and Hardaker but it is known in advance. In the past I feel, after signing, players have shouted "SURPRISE!" as we watched it all go downhill. I have heard a lot worse rumours. |

Yes Dave Taylor.
I mentioned previously about I wouldn't touch Hardaker but if their the 4 signings I'm quietly impressed.
Watched Brinnings highlights on utube earlier,, I know it's a lower division but wow he looks very talented and what a scoop if he has actually signed.
Immense scooting from dummy half and looks a real tough nut putting in some big hits, reminds me of Clark.
