They would have probably rested them any way with the CCF only a couple of weeks away. And, let's face it, they have rather a lot of props.

I think the break will have done the players good. We played against Leigh a player down after Ormondroyd went off after a crusher tackle after a few minutes and that impacted the minutes the other forwards had to play.
No one expects us to beat Wigan so I see it as a free shot.

I am going to ask that the main thing for us is that the team plays with spirit, energy and craft.
That Leigh performance was poor. The only positive was us supporters. The word being raucous. Raucous reds that has a ring.
The team owes it to us.

I'm hoping for a great game, played by two good sides with the outcome going to the best team on the night. Rather than one team being off the pace, or a few dodgy decisions.
