United are on Sky on Saturday night. Lots of non league football clubs and amateur rugby have games on Saturday too, hence I can't go as I have responsibities with my club. I don't get all these Saturday kick offs, Salford have rarely if ever played on a Saturday. The club should have announced their intentions before selling season tickets. My season ticket will be not be renewed next season if this continues. Yeah sorry forgot about the amateur RL clashes, that'll probably have the biggest impact. Utd 8pm KO shouldn't be massive issue as most will watch game in the pub anyway after we've finished. Let's be honest Utd & City are our 2 biggest threats with clashes though and I'd imagine take up 80-90% of the "clashes". I've got ST's for both Salford RLFC & Salford City and we've got a few other Bolton/Stockport etc fans floating around that are affected but it's not big numbers. The amount of footy games I'm missing is a joke due to the clashes and Saturday afternoon really isn't a wise choice for us to play. I can't believe the club has chosen all these Saturday games though and I'd be the first to criticise them if they have (see I don't defend them blindly on everything folk😉). I'm sure London away has just been switched from Sunday to Saturday as well so that's f*cked up my plans for the weekend of 20th/21st April as well.🙄 Saturday 20th April is City v Chelsea in the FA Cup Semi Final at Wembley , with United v Coventry the next day. If United & City reach the Final it’s on May 25th when Salford should be at home to Wigan!

If you haven't got your train tickets booked, I'd do it ASAP, City V Chelsea @ Wembley that day, So going to be busy down to the smoke. It was a pity it wasn't Utd V Coventry on that day, Most Utd supporters travelling iinto London from the Home counties West Country Kent & Hampshire.

100% bollocks.😂 Yours, A born & bred Salfordian.😁 What you aren't born in the Borough of Trafford !?!?. Out of town glory hunter. Here's a secret I do not like sharing. I briefly went to a secondary school that was the original location of your team, North Road (Now Northampton Road) Monsall. And the Newton Heath Locos stadium was still standing about half a mile away when I was there. Many people have memories of their not so perfect education. Seeing a Commerative plaque to that ground every day for 18 months still scars me in 2024.

Isn’t it good to look forward to a local derby at Easter rather than Catalan
Re MU, why is the M6 blocked southbound before the end of the match😉?

This thread has gone somewhat off-piste. I think Mellor might play this week and possibly Norfoalumo, I'd give Cross a rest after last week. Rowley will need to truly drill the players after Friday, I heard he had them in for training on Sunday after KR.

JJR you are awful 😁 Amazing how many City fans I saw at Knutsford services a couple of years back heading South. Maybe they all got lost heading back to Stockport?😁 Glory-hunting isn't a phenomenon exclusive to Utd as plenty of people would've noticed the last 10 years.👍 Back to the rugby... a win against Leigh on Saturday would set us up nicely for April where we have 3 very winnable games against Cas, London & Wire.🤞 Home win for me.

In 1935 the late great Eddie Colman's father Dick who run the team that my late uncle Cyril played for told him he had been offered 2 trials one at United and one at Blackpool who later singed him,I asked him why he didn't go to United he told me at the time they were nicknamed the rags.
