Re Rangi: Absolute waste of arguably the most gifted player I've ever seen pull on a Salford shirt (I'm 38). Granted he has his issues but boy can he pull off some outrageous sh1t with a rugby ball and he's the sort of talent that should be inspiring kids to play our great game. Wonder if he'll try the Yawnion 7's? Great spectacle to watch and will suit him down to the ground. Not sure how much money there is in the sport but pretty sure he'll be able to make a living out of it. He could of course stoop even further than Leigh and sign for Sale....  |

I don't think Rangi Chase's heart has been in RL for a while, and it doesn't help that he's got off-the-field issues going on. I loved watching him in a Salford shirt, and like you say SalfordSlim he's one of the most gifted players I've personally seen in a Salford shirt. |

I wish him a swift and complete recovery. I hope his reconciliation with his family is successful.
I've read about him being one of the very best and most skilful players to play for Salford but I have a real problem with that view.
He was very nearly as likely to lose you a game as win you one and he didn't work well to any sort of game plan. It was necessary to give him the ball and hope one of his circus tricks would come off. When he did try and play to a plan,as for England,he was pretty ordinary.
I genuinely do wish him a healthy and successful future but his departure from Salford was no great loss.

Chase was never going to fit into any type of game plan, free spirit, gifted, genius all very apt descriptions for him but also sadly are trouble maker, flawed and selfish.
All in all it was good business in the first instance as we got huge publicity from him signing but ultimately what people from other clubs were saying proved right in that we should have used a huge big barge pole and avoided him.
Genuinely hope he makes a come back as he is one of the most entertaining players to watch on his day, but on other days he will make you pull your hair out. Also wish him well with his family and their reconciliation.

As for Evalds bit of a non event that tackle, think if he wins the POS this year the Doc should get him a change of name by Deed Poll rather than a Maserati, I don't know maybe to Mr D Taylor?
As for Kendall he should change his name by Deed Poll to Mr S Wonder or Mr R Charles for all the things he saw.
