We’d need Lafai to go to get hola which would be a good thing Lafai is quality and he was great in defence on Friday night, but he'll be 34 in May and we have Marsters coming in a centre who's 28. Although I do think Lafai would still be good next year, it's always better to lose a player a year early than a year late and he might start to struggle with injuries. We need to strengthen our props, if we can get Bryne, Bienek and Hola we'll have a great pack for next season. I can see Lewis being our 13 next year with Partington off to Catalan, with Wright covering and playing more 2nd row next year. Then we could do with a hooker, shame about Brad O'Neil getting a serious injured for Wigan, as I believe we were after Forber but they're keeping hold now. We could probably manage things okay again with Cross, Ryan and Hankinson on the wing, but it would also be nice to add some quality there as we haven't really replaced Sio or Burgess. My thoughts exactly bryne and hola starting and beinek on the bench would let us challenge big time |

A starting 9 has to be the priority. We are being linked with Sam Davis at London online. |

Well Bienek has a good job outside rugby so don’t think he will come Byrne if leaving looks like hull and there is no sign lafai is leaving as he wasn’t announced when we announced the departures!yes his wife put a post up about not wanting it to end but I genuinely think she just meant the season not his Salford career!

I’m concerned that we havnt signed anyone who hasn’t already been announced and as for rumours I havnt heard much …. Most clubs have either completed their signings for next year or finishing off it feels like we are either sticking with the players we got or got a lot of surprises up our sleeves
Also my starting 13 was based on the players we know we are keeping and not who’s might be coming in bash me all you like but if we can’t get any big props coming in then McDonald might be an option for SR plus he did alot of running back in midfield rather than sticking to the wing or passing to his winger and he does move around the field alot rather than sticking to his side so maybe it is a good idea…. Who else would you have if we stick to the same players

Normally at this time of the season it would have other been in the rugby league papers or some how announced but not confirmed by the club as to who we have signed …. I know Ian blease was big into believing announcing players after the whole season has ended

I am positive that we have signed up players for next season but odds are they are still contracted to teams involved in playoffs. Also teams have only just completed their campaigns so imagine there will movements in the coming weeks.

No point announcing them with league still being on, then after that they will probably drip feed announcements over the months following, so think it's question of patience and see what the off season brings both on/off the field

Got told we might be looking to bring Luis Roberts back from Leeds. I can’t remember that much about him but might be a good addition for the wing positions.
