Leigh by far the better team from the off. Too big in the forwards and have best player in league in Ipape, how NRL teams don't look at him is beyond me.
Rowleys team selection was baffling, Bullock and Ormondroyd should have been in 17 as should Atkin who is only other pivot option with Mellor.
Very proud of the season overall though and with 5-6 right bodies we can be in the 6 again next season.

I think if we keep the same players and tweak our team selection and tactics we can be in top 4 or top 3 just need to sort the attack out apparently Rowley said in the sky interview defence wins games well yes it does but to win a game you have to score some points first

Think rowley is a great coach but his loyalty to brierley didn’t help tonight!hankinson has looked better than brierley when he’s played so why put brierley on the bench?!hopefully get some grunt in the forwards next year and the top 6 won’t be beyond us a great season with everything that happened before it!

With the forwards we have we can have a good size pack if they are used better and taught how to either run straight or pick a player and run at but we can sit here all night and talk about the bads and goods let’s celebrate another amazing season and just hope next year is another celebration

Forwards lay the platform that is how it as been through out the ages that's why Leigh won simple as that

Put You could have sat in front of hospitality where one of ours was asking other SALFORD FANS TO **** HIM. Him being a Leigh fan ! Quite why a grown man thought the need to come out with such foul and abusive language with really young kids around is beyond me. Biggest worry about our team getting better and attracting more fans is them having to put up with idiots like him |

It’s a problem with any “successful” team, you are going to attract nob eds. it’s a massive shame, tonight there were clearly kids upset by what happened and that’s just not on.

Yes we need new fans but we can do without that in the south stand tonight hopefully the club nail it down as it was not good!

Yeah we were 2nd best tonight, mainly in the 2nd half TBH. 1st half was just a quality playoff "grind" I thought but we just couldn't get anything going 2nd half. Leigh deserved winners and they took the couple of real chances the teams could muster up between them. Good luck to them next round and will be interesting to see how they cope with Wigan at the Piedome.
Don't want to get too downhearted as we've had a great season. As mentioned above though some of the bellendery in the south stand was a fucking disgrace. That prick with the white t-shirt/long hair that didn't make it into the ground at Hull was at it again and should be banned for years. If anyone on here knows him they need to give him a slap as he's an embarrassment.🙄
The fact the few of us left in the stadium after the final whistle didn't even get to give the lads some sort of a send-off rankles big time.
Bring it on next season.... let's hope some of those who turned up tonight decide to come back and the tossers stay away.👍🏼

I think we’re all in agreement about those idiots!probably sound negative but I just hope the club have already made some signings for next season as we don’t want another pre season like the last!

Leigh deserved winners.
We were undone by our poor attack. We decided to grind this game and while it worked okay in the first half, we were second best in the second. Leigh's attack looked much better than ours all game and it wasn't a surprise when they went ahead. Surprisingly, our attack has been very stilted this season and I'm not sure why. The dynamism just hasn't been there that often this season and it was evident again tonight. Hats off to Leigh, hope they go well in the rest of the play offs.
