Pity. I think he will mature into a very good hooker.

Right now I'd say that Cust takes over at 9. Look at a new no 6 or play Atkin/Mellor there, the other is interchange half from bench.
Unless Rowley wants to throw Morgan in full time next season alongside Sneyd.

Cust looked far from a good enough stand in number 9 last week, let alone a starting one.
Jury is still out on him for me as I've seen nothing yet.
We need a new specialist 9 and 6 for next season as what we have isn't good enough and they are 2 key pivots which we were rushed into trying to find replacements for. We need to make sure we take our time and get the right ones for next season.

Everybody's signing for Hull FC next year. For a young player, he does seem to get a lot of injuries. Enjoy your time in Hull😬 Amir Bourouh.

A bit of a shame that. He has improved massively this season, especially his distribution. However his lack of a running game means he'll never be a world beater. I'm sure a like for like replacement can be found fairly easily.

I've been impressed with Amir this season. Definitely made progress, but he's still a way off the finished article, which he'd probably admit to himself. Whether the rolling circus of Hull is the brightest move for the lad remains to be seen. Presuming Cust will take the number one hooker spot from now on. I trust Rowley to know what he's doing with number 9's so will not worry too much.

If either are injured the cust can deputise. We're not even half way through a season so not sure why we're all of a sudden thinking bourgh has left? We're paying his wages and he's the best option currently so plays ahead of cust.

Cust apparently has extended his contract…doesn’t seem a 6, so a 9 with Rowley working on his game he could be a great spine player.
Mellor short term

Can see this decision pushing PR into developing Cust ahead of where he maybe have wanted to at this stage. Amir can still play his part of course.
