When nofa has played he’s been outside nene, but if you watch the interview when he signed he talked about playing outside Lafai ve interesting to see if he gets a run there

Getting things in perspective we’ve lost Croft, Ackers, Dupree, Sio and Burgess that’s 4 internationals and a Man of Steel so we’re in the rebuilding stage. New spine, less speed, new plays for most people
Today we tried to play as we did mid season last year as we tried against Cas, but it’s not coming off. When we play against the better teams we seem to have a simpler game plan. So we have a choice…we build slowly or we try to br more expansive and suffer, like today and get a lot wrong. We should have had two more first half tries but no backing up…no Croft
Our right edg3 tackling and covering esp McDonald is dire and Brierley misses the cover often …but it’ll take time. For some reason Mellor doesn’t fit in to the attack and not sure, yet, of Croft’s role…Bouroh to me fits in better but he’s only young
So all we can do is be patient and watch things get better each week…inshallah..…😤

We definitely didn’t play our usual way which is typical Salford London played well and was good in defence they are definitely improving i wouldn’t say mid championship it’s always hard for teams coming up into super league don’t forget most players for london are local players There not a sl standard team but there going down either way so not surprised they have not invested . Either way we need to be better that was a poor show It’s hard to invest when you don’t plan on getting promoted all teams struggle when they get into super league as most of the good players have already signed up, this does need to change either a transfer window or all promoted teams get a years grace , a London super league team would be great for super league and the game …. In my opinion they was very good defensively today definitely improving as the comp goes on

" ..... mid championship ......" ? " ...not sl standard ...."? So what exactly does that make SRD Then? With respect to London, they are way off, on that performance today, SL standard. Us today, were scraping the bottom of the barrel and won by default really. We defended well for the most part, but London did a Salford whenever they got into decent positions and fluffed chances. The fact that 12 man Salford having an off day still won easily, albeit not point wise, says it all about London. I feel for them and think a strong London would be a massive boon for SL but having them in this year to make the numbers up isn't going to do SL or London any good. For London or anywhere else to be a success you need huge resources because the sport has a devil take the hindmost for all development and this just looks like continuing at best under IMG.
SRD's performance was the writing on the wall and all you have to do is read it. It does illustrate the fact that having good players doesn't mean you're going to or are able to play well. Dreading what the Wolves will do!
All in all if the Broncos are amateur standard that would make us ......................... ( fill in as applicable )

Not sure what you want me to write, russ.
Salford is a side that has won five from eight, beaten Saints away and thrown the win away against the champions. They are also the same team who let Cas have their first win and looked very unconvincing against a poor London. I don't think there's a more schizophrenic side than Salford, and the bookies must hate us.

Of course SRD hav done well in this early part of the season but given their latest woeful form that shows little signs of improving the wheel have fallen off.
That leaves some fans looking for answers and where the blame lies.
The points about London's quality mean a look at ours as well and that would not be SL standard and may even find the Championship a bit rough.
What's that phrase coaches use ? You're only as good as your last game ......... ! Well, we've had two last games where we were: poor, dour (for the most part), laboured for the whole and entirely lacking. Sadly, no amount of winning at saints for first time in a couple of centuries can hide all that.

A bit of a reality check R; Rowley is having to develop a new team and it’ll take time…be happy that we won’t face relegation and we might get top 6 if things gel and we, because of our small squad, steer clear of injuries

Have a feeling we are saving ourselves for next year Matt shaw did a Q and A this week and he was asked about Salford signing and he said Salford are in taljj on a with some interesting names for next year. Who they are I have no clue but he said he’s hoping to get something solid soon

That clown is the equivalent to the NWCFL (association football reference I'm afraid) of journalism, he's clueless. Why anyone within any SL club would leak news to this joker is beyond me. I won't be grabbing the popcorn in anticipation. Carnster is spot on. We're totally Jekyll & Hyde. We've thrown in a couple of stinkers the past 2 games yet we've had some outstanding performances against the big boys. I'm happy with where we're at and come the end of the season the only thing yesterday will show is a "W" in the results column. Massive improvement needed against Wire and I think we'll step up. I think they're being built up again due to the Burgess hype and a few good results but I don't see them staying the course like last season.

There are more excuses for poor form on here than than are for Israel in the London Tory press.
The depth to which we've gone down is remarkable and a shock, and the loss of form is a matter of all sorts of things mostly for the coach to address. If, as reported, Rowles is on the way out that could make things even more difficult. In any case if he's staying he's got some heavy lifting to put this right.

Right I was almost at the door then when you called me back!
Taking into account how most of us feel about the RL press I'm pretty sure it was covered in LoveRL, SARL and that Yorkshire thingy! They may just be rehashing Sky punditry and no one has quoted Rowles on the subject. It's certainly been covered adding to the rumour which won't help morale at a bad time. If he does go I hope he doesn't do a Watto and take half the squad with him!

Ok this is basically what I've found (didn't see the Sky footage of Carney) and it seems like it's just a copy and paste job across the usual tinpot RL "journalist" rags....
"Speaking ahead of Friday's Super League action, which saw Hull go down 58-0 at St Helens in a defeat that keeps them 11th place on the table, Carney said: "I just wonder, and you've heard it all before, whether Richie Myler, the new director of rugby at Hull FC, will have a close eye on Salford Red Devils head coach Paul Rowley.
"Salford Red Devils won't like us speculating about that, but they have had their players picked and poached from their squad. I'm hearing that he's in the sights of Hull FC."
Jon Wilkin, meanwhile, thinks Rowley is a 'genius' and is not surprised to see Hull potentially identifying the Salford coach as their next head coach."
So Hull have him on a shortlist (no **** Sherlock based on what he's done at Salford) and that's about it. Salford have stated they've had absolutely no approach from Hull and he's under contract for 2 years.
There's a few fans on Twitter saying they'd love him at Leeds/Hull.
My personal opinion? With the stadium deal looking almost done, now would not be the time for Rowley to up sticks to a basket case of a club like Hull. Don't get me wrong they're a BIG club in RL but they're an absolute shambles and Rowley would face a massive couple of years completely rebuilding. At Salford he may just find he gets a competitive budget next season once the stadium deal is done and he seems to thrive on the team dynamics and "family feel" within our great club.
Unless something has gone drastically wrong with the relationship between Rowls & King/Bleasey then I can't see anything in it at all.🤷♂️

Eight games into a season with five wins and two poor performances is hardly having the wheels fall off. You seem easily shocked, russ.
Nobody is putting the rose-tinted glasses on. Let's face it, Salford fans have aways been pessimistic and quick to point out negatives. I mustn't be reading the same posts as you, russ...
