The Supporters Trust a few years ago, bought a 1902? !Lancashire Cup Medal won by my great grandfather. Amazing to see it

Just had a look on eBay and this guy is selling 8 of these medals from what looks like between £650-£850 a pop. He'll have bought them dirt cheap as a job lot in an auction and is now splitting them up to maximise his profit.
Anyone got a spare £5k-£7k?

Had a word with seller he has 6 medals they are in heavy 9ct gold he rekons they are worth more for scrap but he will take £3,000 for all 6

It would be worth asking John Blackburn to sort something out to purchase them it would be ashame to see them scrapped
