I’d take the breaks in this game just make those meters get down the pitch and do what we do Yea, for sure. We're making lots of metres that way. Then we just need to be smart, compose, and build pressure. Saints are still making very easy metres against us though, which is a worry. We can't afford to concede more points. |

Can't believe we didn't even get a challenge in on the short kick-off. Being a Salford fan is never easy.
Great tackle on big Al! Stone could have easily been penalised there though. Really dumb getting in Walmsley face like that.

I bet that Saints forum will be fun 🤣 I thought Lafai was immense in that second half.
It was nice to see us get away with some forward passes after the one given against us that wasn't forward 🤣🤣

Defence phenominal. The pack matched theirs as well…despite Saints ‘explosive line at the ptb…but they were penalised once for offside.

I went to bed 14-6 down with 18 minutes to go I was that disgusted with the Ref and his dodgy decisions and blooming missed the magnificent victory, well done the lads , cut out the crap and we can go places .

Well I'll hold my hands up, thought when saints scored they would play the game out how they wanted to, WOW WOW WOW amazing spirit from.the boys, yeah they where down a man but saints at saints no matter how many on the field is tough place, joint top of the league 😂😂😂

Great win. We looked pretty dangerous with ball in hand even when they had 13. But when thet went down to 12 we were shifting the ball really well to each side of the pitch. Full credit for the last 20 minutes. We didn't deal well with them being down to 12 men for 10-15 minutes, but then we calmed down, after they scored funnily enough, and played a far cleaner game. I don't think we'd have won against 13 men. They were making far too many metres and winning the ruck every time. We'd have struggled for field position. But, we showed what we can do on the edges with field position. I'd love to see Rowley have a prop like the year we had Scott Taylor who constantly wins the ruck and swings momentum. Rowley continues to amaze me with what he gets out of players. Hopefully, once the stadium deal goes through, we can back him more and not be a selling club. Hopefully, we can also hold on to him when other clubs inevitably come sniffing.
You can't fault the effort and commitment of the team and we dealt very well with Cust going. I actually thought we were better as Atkin doesn't shoot out the line as much. It'll be interesting to see how he team shape up without him next week. Does Morgan get a game? Does Atkin play 6? If so, who comes in on the bench. Maybe, another forward and Shorrocks can spell Bourouh.
