Absolutely and I guess that the influence of IMG will move towards this.
Nevertheless it could and should be more visible.Albeit the lack of post capitalism celebrity culture is one of the reasons I am drawn to RL.
For me key elements for RL ‘personalities’
They must be articulate, knowledgable about the game and have the ability to use grammatical articles in a sentence, when ‘on telly lad.’
