Don't think we going get anyone with money stepping in, it's a football city and all the money goes to that, again gotta hope other clubs take pity on us AGAIN, but can see some agreeing to it and others voting against it

So it wasn’t just a rumour…sadly. The other part I heard was that the Council wouldn’t offer additional loans. What irks me is that this has been going on for a number of years…lending money, factoring debts, selling our best players, generating additional funds from supporters …and gradually getting further into the red Well it’s out now…and if your in the mire the first thing is to admit to it…we haven’t but the Board now has to get itself into gear…admit the situation…and then get a plan or move on…because we’ve reached the buffers I/we await an announcement from the Board of the Club Spot on. It ridiculous, who the eff is in charge of these accounts!! |

There are always other ways RD89 but now there is no financial confidence in the Board….i just can’t understand how it’s been allowed to get in this position and then continue like this for many years. Last year we needed about £1m extra from player sales and fan contributions to keep going…beyond me…financial suicide

Nobody will contribute because there’s now no confidence and history shows over the past few years just failures and excuses from what s been published…there’s got to be changes and has as been said many times a Strategic Plan not reliant on grants, fan contributions and sales of assets. V sad state of affairs and still we hear nothing from the Club

Yes rd89 was it quarter of a million off fans and 300.000 from player sales that's a he'll of a lot of cash to accumulate and then be still in same position if not worse

Until the fans stand up and demand answers and have an actual say in the club things will not change you could see this happening ages ago and i probably did say it on here somewhere maybe I can’t remember but nothing will change until all the fans stand up and either someone comes in to make sure peoples jobs are done or people are out the door

The running of the club is clearly the preserve of the ops board and the CBS offers nothing to this point.

I said ages ago when the club doesn’t care about the little things like not having the website updated you can tell that they aren’t up to standard and I hurt me when I saw Salford lads club in financial difficulty and loads of community companies came out with support and it took the club 12 days to make a post and not even offer any sort of fund raising to help them out says to me that we are not a community club

I do find it interesting how much of Salford has disappeared with barely a grunt or a whisper that people feel so strongly about this one bit.

Not saying the club has to give money out to a charity they could give a signed shirt for the lads club to raffle off or a ticket to a game or a ball or anything they can give which won’t cost the club much or anything at all

IMO pretty easy to work out that said ‘journalist’ was tipped off by a (Yorkshire probably) club official who takes the opportunity to press his cynicism and produce an apparent figure of £500,000. Your guess who and why? 💣Nevertheless disappointing that us supporters find this out by a ‘leak.’ The club desperately needs to be proactive and media cute. If not honest with us. 💣IMO very disappointed that the obvious Yuletide ‘cash flow’ bad ice hole has happened again. Very poor form. Is there a plan? What about the negative reputational impact. Questions will be asked? 💣Let me get this right. The fans shareholders monies lies awaiting as part of various Government grant applications. Or has it been spent?

Maybe someone should do a survey on the positives of raising funds and ideas and stuff
Like example asking if people play the club lottery and if not why is that and how can it change
