I need to create a dislike button for this website.
Gutted to hear that the appeal was unsuccessful, but it's over and done with now and with any luck that's us finished with tribunals, appeals, re-appeals etc.

Disappointing but expected.
Time to draw a line under it, stop goading the RFL and go about making the top 8 next season with no off field drama.

I hope the braindead brigade don't start waving the "F*ck the RFL" banners around again. Like you say @michicanred lets draw a line under it and look forward to a clean slate for next season.

And equally let's hope that the Doc realises as useless and biased as the RFL are they are the governing body, constantly having a pop at them and name calling is obviously hugely counter productive.

Wheres this water tight evidence? It's yet against just another reason why people can't be bothered to watch us. I'm sick and tired of it. Really can't be bothered going tonight. What's the point. Gutted.

I meant the evidence from marwan that he's innocent. He's full of sht, also making the club into a laughing stock, again. Sick of the circus. Every year. Without fail.

Not unsurprising.
It makes you wonder why he bothered to appeal in the first place. I'm really really hoping that this is the last episode we have to put up with as long suffering fans. It's really not difficult to see why we can't attract new fans and old alike. We're just starting to gain momentum on the pitch, and I just hope that this silliness on MK's part will not cost us our SL status by putting us in the most difficult middle 8's you could imagine.
Depressing times.

After sitting down and mulling this over It's extremely depressing, did we break the rules? YES, is the punishment more punitive than it should have been? YES, are we alone in this practice? NO (almost certainly) and above all will this be the end of it? NO.
Already the Doc has gone on record and said he will continue his fight, for the love of Salford and the game as a whole let it go, he might very well be right that the RFL are culpable in all this but it's obviously a closed shop where the people in charge have insulated themselves very well indeed.
I'd wager if the Doc now just got on with making Salford the force he wants and we deserve it would be the best form of two finger salute possible, a Salford team winning things, getting to Wembley and producing the best talent would ruffle the feathers of the establishment more than trips to see the beak every 5 minutes ever will.

Let's win tonight, guarantee the extra home game for the middle 8s and then secure our Super League status in style!

Let's leave it alone now and get on with playing well as a team and winning games. We can't influence the RFL but we can influence how well we play.

Just wish he hadn't bothered appealing, just more lies and rubbish makes him look daft and untrustworthy
But as you say onwards now, let's hope the boys put a shift in tonight. Unfortunately I'm the wire end in a box tonight but I'll be shouting them on and dancing round like an idiot if we win!!

The Doc wants to a Maurice Lindsey, and get himself on the RFL board and run the RFL himself. Realistically, he just needs to get on with the RFL and do business with them, as other chairmen do

Good comparison. In the same way nobody could quieten Lindsay, it's the same with MK. You buy into the whole package, not just the good bits, although with Maurice I'm not sure what the good bits were. The best we can hope for is that Marwan will learn from the experience. He has zero chance of overturning the RFL board as he doesn't have anywhere near the necessary support. In any event,we may not like or respect them but they are our sports governing body. I thought we'd win the appeal but they used the arbitration firm that he chose, and he still lost. Beyond belief really
