Need to see how Monday plays out. I do have some sympathy for Paul King and Claire Butters with the council taking forever to get the stadium deal done. I do however understand that some fans especially as we are a supposed Community based club want more transparency. I also cannot understand how we can appoint a new COO, sign more players when there is no money to spend. I just hope Monday goes well then it is business as usual. I think the SL clubs will try to put us in special measures on the one hand and beyond that IMG will lower our score. I'll leave you to make of that anything you like. On Monday we should discover if the rest of the clubs want SRD in SL or just want to divvy up the proceeds while the corpse is laid to rest!
The stadium even in the glacial time line of council offices should've been sorted long ago.
The moaning and groaning is just the normal and there doesn't seem to be an end in sight.
The transparency arguments just appear to be a lack of understanding and reading and listening in some quarters TBH.
We're all fed up and want to see a season where this sort of thing doesn't happen but the conclusions people come to are at best figments of over excited fan brains.
They might want to see us gone but what do they replace us with someone who would be relegated at the end of the season IMG must realise that we are only a stocking filler for Sky we have know bargaining power they will probably give us less money next time I see the game going semi professional

I have heard that several Clubs want us relegating to have a go at signing our best players on the cheap, I also heard of the skullduggery that has gone on for better IMG ratings such as some rich backers putting in large sums of money and once the rating has been given pulling it out, just shows that all professional sport is bent in some form or another.

Because RL has a history of much this kind of thing since even before 1895 so although people will accuse you of being paranoid or seeing conspiracies but it's just the norm.

Think they have us over a barrel really we need the money the clubs know we need the money and are probably saying release a couple of players and we give you the advance!think Paul king has some massive things to answer to if we end up selling again we have to live within our means if that means we don’t have the likes of McDonald hill lafai watkins then so be it because we can’t afford them!

It’s so hard being a Salford Fan, I know I have been doing it since 1959…. Normally, during the summer, it is what the media calls "Silly Season" regarding stories that appear in their publications and broadcasts. It seems November 2024 is also the same. I spoke to a work colleague from Slaithwaite in Huddersfield a few hours ago. He was told in his local tandoori restaurant this afternoon that we will be playing in League 1 in 2025. The bloke who was delivering his order from Asda told him that. Apparently, there are many right-wing nut jobs in the UK trying to get a general election called because the duty on beer has gone up! There mustn't be much happening around other parts of Europe for the journalists to report on this week . I wonder if IMG will deduct points for stadium infrastructure damage and less fan reach if there is a nuclear war?

We’d most likely get relegated if we have to sell players but this is where we are just like everyone said last year, and the year before, then? All this "they'll make us do this" or "they'll tell us to do that", based upon no evidence whatsoever, is, quite frankly, getting VERY fucking boring now

Unless we improve the ground which is up in the air
