Well this is a chance to attract new fans with a promo on.
We will have Bullock, Lewis and Brierley back for this one. Letβs hope Wigan win later on today as that keeps the pressure on Cats going into next week.
Our home form is excellent, if we can fix up our glaring defensive problems on the edge this is a game we can win.

It was mentioned in commentary that a flu bug had swept through the camp. That was why Brierley was out. I suspect that Lewis and Bullock were suffering too, unless Rowley wanted to keep them fresh for bigger games ahead.

Loghan has had a couple of HIA's hasn't he in the past few games? Plus he threw up on the pitch at Magic so I guess it was precautionary.
Catalans have a big game v the Pies tonight and hopefully they'll take a beating.π€πΌ We've shown we're more than capable of beating Cats at home so I'm still confident.
FC have just conceded nearly 40 at home to Cas and we've got a decent recent record at the KC. I'm still confident we'll make the 6 (relatively) comfortably.

The Cats V Wigan was interesting.
You have to wonder how the Warriors are not the leaders in the six again table: Catalan seemed to be the quicker of the two sides out of the tackle and had far fewer extra pushes and lying ons at the ruck.
Apart from lingering on for a fortnight and setting up a table and chairs at each tackle I'm not sure Wigam could have done much more to alert the ref what they were up to! He seemed to warn them forever before doing anything about it and then used the continual infringement argument for an unrelated offence.
And Sky pundits seem to be locked into deciding what the level of infringement was that took place!

Was totally unacceptable last match and singleton needs a rocket up his ar$e after his discipline and inability to engage any form of a brain when we needed it

The discipline issue is only an issue with particular refs.
The team didn't show up last game and that will be a disaster against a tough team my wife supports. So I have two reaons for wanting an SRD victory.
We don't need to pick out individuals in the last outing and you can tell how your lying eyes can decieve even the best of us when watching with passion by who was left out of being named and shamed.

Our discipline is not down to specific refs π€£ behave. I most certainly can and will pick our Individuals who were poor last week. This is a forum for discussion and opinion and for me singletons discipline was awful and cost us a lot of yards in an already tough match. Nikorima- got ran around and did nothing Macdonald- pants pulled down defensively Stone- took the ball in 2 times second half compared to all the other forwards who did it minimum of 6. Ryan- dropping ball on 1st drive when we need to silence the crowd. To be fair he carried on looking for work after than Wright-never a prop, does work hard but tackles people once their past him. Bizarre bench that added to the fatigue and not used very well. Plenty to pick at and for the players and coaching staff to work on. Didn't expect a win, but gotta use it as lesson learnt to Improve. Thought you'd quit the forum anyway russ? Or just another over dramatic nonsensical post? |
