I'd hazard a guess that until such a time that we become flush with cash, the wage saving on a DOR probably pays for one or two squad players. Watson Rowley Blease have made us lots of money over the years…look at last years xfers which kept us afloat We need a well linked knowledgable ex player up there to continue the Blease role…doing this in house with enthusiasts won’t work..its one of our main strengths finding rough diamonds polishing them and normally having to sell for a profit…too many to mention To me this is one are where we don’t save, it’ll cost us lots of money in the future. I really hope Rowley goes as DoR for a 3 year period to develop the role and is given total power over all rigby matters from top to bottom

Hard 3 games coming up WRD Home form won 12 from 10 Away and won 4/12 Catalan will be v tough Hull a banana skin with that long drive again…need to perhaps plan that better…we always seem to have travel disasters Wigan..really depends on where they are in the table as to how they approach it But 3 games to go, we’re still in the mix, Rowley has got us a chance ( with a small squad and carrying three none playing forwards), it’s Salford we look forward to the Rowleycoaster ride Do not disagree JJR, it is tough, and we need a Favour from Wigan and Hudds today. If you look at the first 4 tries conceded Cross was at fault for two, running in like that is heads gone stuff and then the strange Smith decision regarding the ball going forward. Two of those tries are very preventable. Rowley needs to make changes when players do not perform. That first 30 mins lost us the game. We cannot give teams points. That said KR will make the GF this year, way better than us last night.

I was actually happy when no yellow cards, nobody appeared to have fouled and no injuries…chance of winning there not good

This ref never fails to disappoint and that second HKR try was a joke! [br You are right pal, clearballsteal so play on and score from 10 inches away Oh, dear!
Because players across SL are going to try a steal the ball on their own line, the temptation is just too strong, well known as redzone fever by coaches!

Hard not to be disappointed by that display and it does lend intself to Jamie pundit's idea that we're not quite good enough and our home form protects us to some extent but that's very deceptive and the fault of poor opponents .

Decent ones don't fall out of the sky either. Maybe there might be scope for one for next season, but I see why the club are not rushing to replace Blease right now. Ultimately, we don't know how good Blease was or how instrumental he was with certain signings, Hastings excepted. If the club thought it so crucial then they'd appoint someone to replace. I suspect that finances and available options have a lot to do with it. For a club that needs to stretch every penny, advocating for frivolous spending on a position that might or might not bare fruit would be a poor idea.

Bad night at the office. I'm not gonna go over the top but I'm sure there will be complete meltdown on here for the rest of the evening!🙂 KR now won 8 in a row, they're a very good team that are on a roll. Tonight was a free hit for us and we barely landed a slap. Would like to see a few smug grins wiped off the faces of the likes of Lewis/Minchella etc though. Some of the commentary has been dire tonight. Amor nowhere near the worst of the Sky lot but he's talked some crap tonight.😂 Catalans & Hull still the 2 games we need to win.🤞🏼 Amor was doing my head in tonight, he contradicted himself in the same sentence a number of times. There were a few dodgy ref calls but overall they are just much bigger more aggressive defensive unit than we are, and that won then the game. Some of our defence was really poor at times, but as with the Leigh game I put a lot of that down to fatigue we were under the cosh a lot early doors and took its toll. On to next 2 massive games, still good chance of making 4th with our home form that could see us through to a semi at least.

I’ve just watched the game again this morning and I’m trying to stay positive, but has Sneyd gone off the boil a little or is it more to do with a lack of go forward from the forwards?

We’ve said it all year it’s the lack of go forward, last week bullock and Lewis dominated which gives us space and momentum. For me singo has to go he’s becoming a massive liability

The calls are sadly parr for the course with that ref. When you face as agressive a side as HKR the six agains are not only inexplicable they're debilitating!

Totally disagree C…just look at th3 funds generated over the past 5 years…we’ve lived off horse trading. Get a club amateur in the job could cost mega bucks Not about stretching in my view it’s about generating income

Fair play to Sneyd last night, took a lot of abuse from the East stand, and gave a bit back. Wish it was like Gridiron and you can bring a goalkicker on, would have him like a shot. Bes in the league 👍
