Let’s start it early. A win and we are pretty much assured a top six place and can aim for top 4 or higher. And the returning Blease, Croft and Ackers. Let’s ’ave it.

Be good to see how they move on fron Cas…first time out for that team
Lh defence obviously needs sorting, Shorrocks needs to be more focussed , Nikorima can only get better, Brierley needs to focus on defence….and the intensity from the forwards against Cas was brilliant and needs to continue
Be a good test…but we must win so we can all chill a bit
Leeds to be in top 6, Saints out

Brierley tends to take the flack which is way off the mark.
For the whole team there was some ball watching, not moving up and into position and leaving it to others which was in direct contrast to the dominant and controlling periods during the game.

I also disagree about Brierley. The reason we're caught out wide sometimes is because that particular tactic of moving up quick is either the wrong call, or the attacking side has had a player smart enough to exploit it. Most of the time the tactic is sound and stops a lot of plays, it's just that when it doesn't work it exposes the FB through no fault of theirs. Maybe RB could provide bias to those sides which would help when it went wrong, the only problem being that he then becomes out of position for an inside ball/switch or general kick. FB's cop a lot of stick when ultimately they are the very last line of defence when in reality they shouldn't have to be if the rest of the team do their job.
I'd rather have an attacking FB over a defensive one. Two tries were directly attributed to RB's play in attack.
RB simply not an issue for me.

Ryan’s attack was back on point yesterday, hard to expect him to cover Cross on the first two try’s. Brierley should however have stopped Johnson that was a poor effort. Leeds are crap, big Sam Will cop a ban, need to hunt their mistakes and get the ball wide.

The real issue with this game is that Leeds spine have a real insight into how SRD play so the game plan will need to be something a bit different.

Knowing is one thing…doing is completely different You'd think so if you weren't looking at Brad Arthur and two of our old spine plus a side on the up.
The dominant parts of the match the other day were superb though when tiredness set in I think we became suspect.
In the words of the wondeful Beach Boys though "Oh reality, it's not for me And it makes me laugh "

Anybody else think that Hankinson at full back and Brierley at centre (in the absence of MacDonald or Lafai of course) would be a good option?

Anybody else think that Hankinson at full back and Brierley at centre (in the absence of MacDonald or Lafai of course) would be a good option? Hank FB yes, Brierley Centre, god no! His defence would be targeted massively and we all know his game isn't about getting involved in the physical stuff. Impact 6 off the bench would be Brierley's other option as plenty on here have suggested. If Nene or Tim were missing I'd switch Deon back into the centres and stick Brierley on the wing if required.

Lisone not been banned. Predictable. I put this on the general RL bit it's quite like Labour's fiscal rules looks good on paper, means more austerity and has no substance but we're all not supposed to notice.
