It’s sort of obvious. Mac and Lafai out, Sneyd muzzled and the continuing inconsistency of the pack. Paucity of depth in the squad. Such as it is at the moment.
Such is the Solly journey.
And to be honest it ain’t all bad. In the play offs, almost as many points last season with a dozen games to play, and of course that Stadium deal in the final hurdles.
Not wonderfully happy about tonight, but I bet we are significantly more joyful that a certain ex coach is this summer evening.

I think rowley gets most stuff right with his coaching but that’s at least 2 or 3 games where we have been totally bullied in the forwards we have no forward who punches the line and without the 2centres the plan I’m afraid is flawed!hopefully for 2025 we could get maybe at least one that can get some go forward.we’re a great side to watch but just my opinion that some games you got to match the big guys with some of your own!

As always LHR it’s money…remember we’ve had to sell our best young prop to keep going…then bring in older forwards…let’s hope we can unearth some talent from somewhere

Yes the worry with king is he is contracted for next year as well so that’s an issue,think we have missed ormondroyd more than we thought we would he had really been having a good season till his injury,

Saw some interesting statistics from yesterday the most telling was that Catalan had 2less carries than us during the game and made 350 more metres than us!whicjh I think if you put lafai and McDonald in would have been about even!

I still don't say how bad we are doing but how good we are doing.I said at the start of this season if we got 20 points with the squad we had I would be over the moon and I still say that.

I don’t understand how we keep playing king when he makes mistakes and give away penalties and doesn’t play enough minutes and still gets picked over Wilson … 6 minutes in first half for next game I want to see Wilson given ago and pye if he’s been given a contract then let’s give him a chance now Any news on Lewis he went off with a bad knee but was it a dead leg or actual injury  |
