BBC radio Manchester just confirmed they spoke to Rowley 30 minutes ago and he insisted there’s been no contact between him or the club and Leeds .

I listened to Rowley post match - Radio Manchester, he pays so much respect to Inu and Kurt Haggerty 'they coach and prepare the team, I manage it' I think he wants to stay and he wants the Director of Rugby job and he trusts Kurt and Inu to take over. if he goes to Leeds he will still be seen as an understudy or puppet of Blease, I think he wants to make his own mark on the club.
any update from Earlybath on this post from 7th May...'There should be good news re PR emanating from the club this week...' I would post the scxreenshot but cant figure out how. think it was in the Rowley to Hull thread.

Yes it was in connection with a long term plan for him at the club.
Re the current situation My concern is with PK and his desire to have a big inward cash injection either from a Rowley deal or prominent player.
Let's face it a quarter of a million Salford folk are just not interested in Rugby League.

As long as Blease pays to attend no issue with him watching. I don’t think Rowls will go to Leeds it’s a 3 year project they are crap. Need 5-6 decent players.

If you consider us selling the rest of the family silver to survive then I think I’ve had enough of the way everything is run…we can’t keep getting the budget out by 20-30% each year and keep selling to survive Re 250k Salford folk not interested…I’d like to know where we market and if we really have a Marketing Plan, because besides being ST holder and getting the odd snippet from the Club, I never see our name, matches mentioned anywhere Surely we need a robust one, urgently…we don’t start by blaming the population of Salford for not coming, we start with a Plan

Grab a beer, watch the game again and just appreciate how good this lot are (players and backroom). Whatever beef you've got with the club you need to maybe consider going Vegan?😁 Then go to bed and enjoy a lovely peaceful sleep and dream of yet another potential trip to a Grand Final. Personally I think these lads have got it in them. In my 35 years of watching the Red Devils I can honestly say this bunch of guys is up there with the 2019 vintage. Even getting kicked out of the Henry Bodds at 10pm can't ruin the day!😁👹

On my jollies but listened on the BBC, wish I would have been there, Jack Dearden said it was the best match he had seen this season , well done to all involved, oh for some serious investment.

He was right R54…the best tackling performance I’ve seen by the boys. The match was literally end to end and we were the better team And they never gave up despite, losing Lafai at the start, at times being on the wrong end of the whistle and the usual Saints tactics Enjoy the sun…only 24 here today😉

Rowleys best chance of silverware this season is by staying put at Salford. We are 2 points off second place. It doesn't make sense for him to go now, too much pressure to turn the current Leeds team to finalists for this year.
