Stupid team selection with Hankinson on the bench. This team has a week off looks like they are on the beach. All round poor, can’t defend the edge, Brierley has no positional sense as full back, it’s every week he’s missing on attacking kicks and gone walkabout. I’d get them in tomorrow that’s unacceptable tonight. Think that’s what cost us not Hank alone but are pack just got bullied there was a period where we had no out and out props on the pitch. King was well king hit and miss and today was a big miss |

As usual when we’re fancied to win we don’t perform, it happens.
Ref certainly didn’t help, forward pass for their try, I still think the kick from Ryan should’ve been checked, big decisions at big times. That said we were well beat. Ormondroyd was a massive miss, so light up front for too long in that second half.
Glad of a week off hopefully get some players back fit. Lots of ups and downs to go this season!

I don’t know about anyone else but I had a feeling this might happen some point soon being honest we haven’t played to the top standard for a few games we probably needed this to give the players and coaches a shake up and try something different
I would definitely offer Tony smith a chance to stay up to date in the game and get a fresh look at how we are doing things

The joys of being a Salford fan.😁 I bet the fans who got the coach from the Dog & Partridge wished they'd have ended up in Leeds after all after the driver thought we were playing there and had to turn round at Whitefield.🤦♂️🤣 |

Big shout out to those fans that stayed until the end and sang their hearts out for that last 20-25 minutes.👏 I think there'd have been plenty more empty seats if pretty much every other SL team would've been 30 points down. Big respect to you all.👍

If we are really struggling for forwards either look at loan market or ask any of those big props in the reserves and see if any will step up we have got some big guys in that team any of them is better than a unfit or half injured player at the moment

Just in time for Wigan and London to break their duck... As per the above posts, the ref had no bearing on that result. Its was down to us being a busted team who need rest and bodies back. We got out enthused and couldn't contain their pack. No individual issues, just a bit of realization that a mega thin squad is always going to get a few beatings and this was one of them On a side note, i do love the fact that there are such a high % of matches now where I genuinely can't call the win beforehand. Salary cap is definitely helping this and this years competition has been superb to watch. Long may it continue. Bring on the pies as I need satisfaction after the diabolical end to our last match with them |
