This is scary. Most of their props took a breather last week as well. Just hope it's not too big a defeat and no more injuries or suspensions.

Bet365 have the Pies favourites by just 8 so those on here with little faith should lump on them.

This team is competitive, and at this moment that's all we need to know!

Bookies must hate Salford.
Everything on paper screams a loss every week. This team continues to make it hard for them to earn a living. You gotta love it...

The squad we have to pick from just looks very light this week, that is not a criticism it is a fact. Hellewell does very well at Prop for his size but asking Dixon and Foster to cover that position is a huge ask. Sidlow is never fit and has played few games last season so cannot be relied upon this year to play lots of matches. Salford 1963 have a word with your mate Paul King to see if there is any monies to sign a Prop? Joe Bullock to me on a month long loan makes sense, though Wigan may offer Chan once Thursday is out of the way. Hope we see the new wingers play. I have limited expectations this week our front row is decimated.

I agree Maurice the players deserve huge credit for the opening four rounds however we cannot expect Dixon and Foster to play as Props against Wigans pack. If they can the club need to act now and get in a Prop on loan, be it Bullock, Chan or a Cats fringe player. Not for this week but for KR away and games beyond.

We all knew this would happen at some point just a shame it’s against one of if not the best pack in league. Won’t be easy with 2 props and hopefully we can keep in the fight

For this match with the injuries I’d go with this 17.
1. Ryan 2. Nofoaluma 3. McDonald 4. Lafai 5. Cross 6. Brierley 7. Sneyd 8. Vuniyayawa 9. Bourouh 10. Ormondroyd 11. Stone 12. Watkins 13. Shorrocks
14. Atkins 15. Wright 16. Helliwell 17. Foster

All in all with Singo/Sidlow/Partington out this illustrates the desperate need we have to get a least one more Prop in even short term.

Think I’d play Dixon over foster he’s a little bigger and more experienced and Wigan have a monster pack but we try to play around them
