Not surprised given the ‘languid’ nature of yer man in the reserves and the pressing need for some new front row muscle.

Maybe he misunderstood what it was going to be like when he signed for a team in the North West of England in a Northern European country
Maybe his agent misrepresented the reality.

Sounds the perfect signing for joint bottom of SL Dull fc.
He may not be old enough, have enough baggage and dislikes training as much as their shower but a week under their coaching misfits he should blend in quite well.
