Unfortunately, yes.
I don't think people realise just how badly run we were during the 2014 and 2016 season. It didn't help having Harris single headedly in charge. He was far too inexperienced to deal with a character such as Marwan. That's where Tim was a blessing in disguise. He's allowed Watto to purely concentrate on coaching the team whilst Tim manages Marwan like nobody else (barring Wayne Bennett) ever could.
That certainly wouldn't happen now. Just look at Vidot. Granted he was rushed back at Magic Weekend due to our weakness in the backs but that wasn't due to pressure from the owner.

None of this takes away from the fact that Locke turned out to be an utter tool. Brilliant on his day but a tool none the less.

Being asked to play through and round an injury is one of my pet hates, it happens far too often.
Picking out this or the Doc in particular for doing it is a piece of nonsense that lets a lot of "common" practice and the people who do it off the hook. The Doc's innocence about things like this or maybe his knowing a bit more about Kevin than he's being given Credit for, may explain a lot. However, people do this sort of thing from a great deal more experience and knowledge than Marwan so it needs to be kept in perspective.
